Autumn Tea Drink Station

Autumn Tea Drink Station

I have moved a little chest into the dining room, and it made the perfect spot for a drink station. I made a hot chocolate drink station in the kitchen over the weekend, and it was a huge success. The family is really enjoying it. I will show that one later; it looks more wintery.

Autumn Tea Drink Station
I decided to make an autumn tea drink station even though I don't really have any fall china that matches. I just used what I had that went with the season. Nothing matchey-matchey here.

DIY Cake Dome
I wanted a dome for muffins and cookies to use at my drink stations, and I couldn't find anything that would work that I owned, so I saw this idea and made my own. This is a glass bowl turned upside down, and it has a glass candle lid glued to it. I thought it was a really smart idea. I thought it looked homespun, practical, and cozy. The bowl and the candle lid were $2.50 at the Dollar Tree.

I didn't have a sugar to match my creamer, so I used a teacup with a spoon in it. I thrifted most of these things, and the spoon actually has an "S" on it.

It has been warm here, and the garden is still producing beautiful flowers. I mixed my herbs in for greenery, as you can see rosemary and parsley here. I am just using what I have and trying to create a cozy drink station for fall.

Autumn Bouquet
That is the most wonderful thing about cottage style: you can mix and match and just have fun creating something pretty.

I love this! I too love mixing and matching my teacups and most of mine are thrifted as well. Do you have a favorite one you always reach for? I have a small collection, but I always seem to reach for the same one :) Enjoyed your post very much!

Love this Sherry! I've never done a tea station before. Just a cocoa one during the holiday season. This is such a neat idea :)

I love your tea station and being creative to move something. I had seen a lovely but expensive china cabinet I thought about for my dining room. We came home and like you - moved some stuff around that that we already had. I thanked the Lord for the idea which was the right one!
