Are you soon to start seeing green? We are, spring is right around the corner and the days are getting brighter so it is time to celebrate with a look back in the archives of my March posts. This was a spring wreath recycled.
In 2014 I baked this Guinness chocolate cake with a slated caramel glaze that was so yummy.

I dubbed the tea the Guinness Cake Tea. |
This post was all shabby and romantic in, An Irish Tea.
I practiced some forgotten skills of cooking with Darina Allen in, A Tea for March.
Last year I just pulled out my green teacups in Seeing Green.
And, I also did a book review last year on one of the most gorgeous gardening books I have ever seen it was, The Irish Garden.
I have actually taken on several book reviews and they all came in at once so starting next week I will be reviewing books again. I have been busy reading them! I hope it is turning green in your hometown.

Sherry, just glorious! I am a fan of green too...especially when paired with my other favourite colour, pink. It's just such a soothing colour. Love, Mimi xxx
I'm afraid that the greenery that we're seeing around here will soon be buried under snow again! I enjoyed seeing your past March tea times. Thanks for sharing!
Dear Sherry:
As always your photos are lovely and that cake looks delicious. Thanks for sharing and linking! Lovely.
Bonjour chère amie,
Des photos sublimes... Je suis entrain de préparer mon thé mais je le prendrais volontiers dans l'une de vos charmantes tasses.
Gros bisous ♡
From the opening photo of that gorgeous wreath, to all the pretty teacups; everything is crisp and lovely. That cake does look rather delish!
I like the simplicity of your wreath very much and may shamelessly copy you this afternoon, as I pass by Micheal's on my way home from work. I think the green wreath with gingham bow is a good bridge between the seasons. I am so old-fashioned that I can't put out an wreath full of bunnies and chicks before Easter weekend.
I took a book from the library recently, on the Irish Country House. It was a treat. Your table reminds me of what I saw in the book. *sigh*
Dear Sherry,
Love the green and white theme! What gorgeous images of your March teas! I would sure love a piece of that scrumptious looking cake! The glaze alone has me hankering for some. We have very little snow around this year which causes we Islanders to pinch ourselves to make sure it is so. Last year was such a nightmare so we're all really appreciating the mild winter we've had. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
So many pretty "green" teas! That Guinness cake looks yummy! Your pics make the scenes so inviting, I'd love to pop by and have a cuppa with you!
Beautiful tea!

That cake looks delicious! We are really craving "green" here in the Midwest, but winter is not ready to give up just yet :(
Great post! Enjoyed your charming and delightful post of the pretty tea time! Starting to see green around our parts too... and loving it! :) ~Rhonda

I have green year round, but now color is popping up all over my garden. It is wonderful to have fresh flowers for bouquets.
I have to try that Guiness cake!
Thanks for sharing at SYC.
Oh my gosh I don't know which set of cups I like the most. Perhaps the one in Irish Tea? Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm! Hope to see you there again this Thursday! xo Kathleen
Green is my favorite color this time of year! The lawn is starting to green up and little green sprouts are popping up all over in the garden. Yup, I'm goin green! Love your pretty images with green Sherry! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
