Nautical Table

A nautical setting for a table is a perfect way to have a summer meal.

Shells, mermaids, and model ships all work to create the nautical look.

My favorite brown transferware, Fair Winds by Alfred Meakin Staffordshire England.

That is just gorgeous transferware. I love the brown and collect brown and red. The ship is perfect. You are on a theme lately of the sea. Must be summer.

Such a good idea. Now I live by the coast I'll try something similar using beach finds. My favourite Alfred Meakin pattern is Raymond. I have a few pieces I use in the Fall.
