A Woodland Spring Arrangement

 

Always having wanted a primrose, I found one this spring and created a spring woodland basket around it.

The primroses, violas, tulips, and ivy are displayed with some redbud tree branches. They are blooming right now, and during a recent storm a neighbor's tree lost several branches, and they blew into the street.

Being the type that never wastes a beautiful blossom, I foraged the redbud and found a use for it. 

I used some sheet moss and lichen to finish the look, just as if I happened on this in the woods. As cold as it has been, the indoor gardening has been a most pleasant hobby.
