The Power of the Holy Spirit

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:12

As a believer standing alone we are too weak for the attacks of the enemy. When we pray to Jesus, repent, and take Him as our personal Savior we are in better shape to withstand the attacks of Satan. When we give our lives to God the Father; doing His will, praying to Jesus and reading His word, then the power of the Kingdom of God in the form of the Holy Spirit makes His home within you and then we are like a three strand cord and cannot be broken. God holds you in the greatest safety. This is spiritually how it works. Satan attacks your mind. 

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
Romans 8:26  

Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.
