There is a stark contrast to the two women in the story. The reigning Queen Vashti is not obedient and she gets exiled from the kingdom. Esther is faithful and obedient and gets married to the king and crowned in the kingdom. Esther glorifies God by her actions.
This post and A Woman of Virtue are for all of you women out there. Jesus is reaching out to you with this scripture and teaching you what he wants in a woman to glorify God.
