Keep On Believing

1 Thessalonians 1: Keep On Believing: The Charm of Home

Paul, Silas[a] and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace to you.

Thanksgiving for the Thessalonians’ Faith

We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
For we know, brothers and sisters[b] loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake. You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit. And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. The Lord’s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it, for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.
1 Thessalonians 1
God is thankful everyday for the true believer. He is so pleased with your faith and how you follow Him. You will escape the impending judgement by the faith you have shown.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:1
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Romans 8:33
Keep on believing and sharing the kingdom. The Lord will reward you in heaven.
Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. Colossians 3:24
Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free. Ephesians 6:8
We become one body in Christ joined to the one true force.
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. 13 Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles,[a] some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
one God and Father of all,
who is over all, in all, and living through all. Ephesians 4:4-6

All glory and honor to my Lord Jesus Christ,
Sherry
