I found a little miniature rose on clearance at the grocery store this weekend. It was a welcome sight since we have been covered with snow for over a week. The children have been out of school for the whole week too. I am ready to see things blooming and the birds singing again.
How did it happen that their lips came together? How does it happen that birds sing, that snow melts, that the rose unfolds, that the dawn whitens behind the stark shapes of trees on the quivering summit of the hill? A kiss, and all was said.

Have you been snowed in? Are you ready for spring too? It will be here soon.

Very much snowy winter and cold here.
Your pictures are stunning.
That's a darling little rose, and I love the tea cup and saucer too. :)
The teacup is wonderful. I could drink tea all day from it. Wishing you a lovely week.

So beautiful. We enjoyed tea in china cups yesterday during spelling time.
What a sweet teacup!!! YEs we are tired of snow and ready for Spring.
Pretty teacup. Stay warm, spring should be here soon!
Hello Sherry, I believe I have the same teacup! Such a simple and sweet photo!

Red roses and white snow...it sounds just like a fairy tale. Such a pretty post.
Lovely rose and rose teacup. Beautiful images. Stay warm! Happy Tea Day!
Hi Sherry,
This is worst winter we've had in forty years. Stormy and cold too. We have mountains of snow which accumulated since the end of January and we Islanders are really tired of it. The children had a week off from school too because of the weather. It is actually dangerous walking in the city because the streets are only one lane and the sidewalks haven't been cleared yet. All this came last week from a blizzard we had. Yes, I am so ready for Spring!!
Your wee rose is very sweet and adds a romantic touch to your pretty teacup. Thanks for joining me for tea.
Blessings,
Sandi
Bonjour chère amie,
Il me tarde de voir arriver Demoiselle Printemps !

This is beautiful Sherry. I love that teacup! Lovely, lovely photos!
Hi Sherry: Everyone will be happy to see Spring this year. Love the tea cup. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
After this record-breaking month of cold weather, I'm ready for spring!
I hope things are soon back to normal where you are!
Yesterday I, too, found some discounted miniature roses and bought them - three plants to brighten the kitchen windowsill and then to be planted out later.
Very pretty cup and saucer!
I was snowed in last week, and I can't wait for Spring to get here!!! Thanks so much for linking up with us at Totally Terrific Tuesday! I hope you stop by again this week. The party starts tonight at 10pm! Christie ~ Sparkles of Sunshine
