Cherry Cobbler Tea

Today we are having cherry cobbler with our tea.  The cherries are fresh in the groceries.  It can be made with fresh cherries or canned, for this recipe I used canned.  I got the recipe out of another great cookbook I found.  I will share the recipe later this week.

Any cobbler is always best with a scoop of ice cream.  This is my new favorite it is 3 ingredient no-churn ice cream.  Click the link for the recipe.

The teacup and bowl are from the Old Britain Castles pattern made by Johnson Brothers.

Your cobbler looks wonderful, Sherry. I will have to try that ice cream. I've never made home made before. Looks very easy. You know I am loving your red transferware; such a pretty pattern! Be sure to email me your address so I can get your prize out to you. Once again, Congratulations, my friend!

Your tea time always reinforces how much I love this special time. There's really nothing like a cup of hot tea and a dessert (along with a good book or magazine).
Thanks for sharing with us . . .

Oh, how pretty and delicious looking! I've been craving homemade ice cream and don't even own any kind of maker, so I'm thrilled to find your recipe! It's nice to meet you, Sherry!
