Have you all been able to tell I have become enamored with tea? I have. I always knew I liked it but, I really like it! I had a bag of lemons from the grocery and wanted to try a lemony dessert. 
I tried two lemon cakes the day I made this and one was a English recipe. The English recipe didn't turn out for me so I came up with a recipe I knew would work and that is Ina Garten's Lemon Pound Cake. I will share the recipe tomorrow.

Lemon cake with tea would be nice. I like how you decorated the top with lemon peel curls and fresh flowers.

You had me when I saw "lemon" ... I love lemon anything! Gracie makes some lovely teacups. This one has such a delicate decoration and I love the scallop saucer. Happy Tea Day!

This looks so beautiful AND yummy! I've just finished Susan Branch's book about her travels through the English countryside and my interest in tea has been renewed! A good cup of tea is wonderful and a little treat to go with it, even better :)
