Goodbye Summer Tea

Summer went really fast this year.  I am bittersweet about it leaving.  I am usually so ready for the next season but, not this year.  Time is traveling in warp speed and maybe I would like to hold it still a little while longer.

The teacup is by Ralph Lauren.

The teapot is by Johnson Brothers the pattern is Blue Denmark.

How lovely to sit and sip tea at this calm setting. I love the blue and white china, especially the teapot pattern. Your idea of summer leaving to quickly is so correct for I have been ill and haven't been able to complete all my planned trips. Have a great week!

Such a pretty tea, Sherry. The teacup is really sweet. I agree with you, Summer flew by way too fast. I am still not ready for Fall although I know I must come to terms with it. Love the wee white pumpkin too. Thank you for coming to tea with me.

Blessings,
Sandi

I agree with you, Sherry. As much as I love autumn, it's always so sad to bid farewell to the long, sunny, lazy days of summer. Can you tell how much shorter the days are already? :( Oh well....time to cozy up with a frothy cup of hot cocoa now. :)

I so agree with you, this year I have not wanted summer to end. Seems the older I get the faster time flies.
I love fall, but just not looking forward to what comes next.
i won't even mention the four letter word. lol

Your blue and white china are lovely, I especially love the teapot. The Shakespeare quote is so true.

That's what I love about blue and white...everything is interchangeable. Dropping by from Teacup Tuesday...bit late I know.
