That is a great vintage treasure full of memories. My sister has one in mint condition that she got as a little girl. She sealed it up in a jar to protect and preserve it.

Love your teddy. I have a teddy that turned 62 on Christmas. He doesn't look a good as this one. My teddy lost an eye somewhere over the last half century.

My teddy has been put away for years. I will have to get him out and show him off again. Very awesome that it was your dads.

Such a special treasured heirloom, Sherry! I think that you should write down the history of this little bear & tuck it into a little pocket or purse or somehow make sure the provenance stays with him. Future generations need to know how old & special he really is.

Warm Hugs,
Rett

Great photos, by the way!
