I made a wreath last fall (pictured below), and I wanted to recycle it for spring. I liked the simplicity of it. So, I just took the pumpkin off of it and pinned a spring nest in it's place.
Looking at these pictures I realized the Spanish moss faded. I have no idea why.
All of this moss reminds me of the way a nest really looks when a bird assembles it. Spring is almost here. Are you enjoying the extra day of daylight tonight? I celebrated for spring last week by going to the Dollar Store and buying myself a new pair of sunglasses!

Very cute wreaths! I enjoy your posts, Sherry!
Love!
Adorable!
Very pretty Sherry!
What a cute idea putting the nest on the wreath. Now I know what to do with my nest.
That little wreath is so sweet!
My front door faces south, and I can't keep a Christmas wreath green. Within 2 weeks, it starts turning brown. And that's in Minnesota!
Hi Sherry,
What a darling wreath you made. I like how it faded, it seems to go so well with the cute bird nest. I'm going to try making one like it. Thanks for sharing.
Nancy
I love this wreath! So sweet and perfect for spring.

Beautiful! I love the way the moss is 'every which way' -- it really is just perfect with that burlap bow and nest! Great 'recycle'!
I love the simplicity of the wreath. There's something very calming about the natural elements. ~ Maureen

What a gorgeous wreath! I love it!
I love your wreath with the little birds nest. I like the way you used burlap for the bow, very rustic and out-doorsy! I think I actually like the wreath better faded!
Oh I love the bird's nest in the wreath!!!
I love a project that can be up-cycled and made even better with just a few touches. Lovely, lovely Springtime wreath. Thanks so much for joining my Wild About Mother Nature Party. Blessings, Barb

Wildly Original link party is open.
How did you attach the moss to the wreath?
Cwillis,
I used the hot glue gun to attach the moss to the wreath.
Sherry
Beautiful! fyi the spanish moss faded because it was alive before - you can actually keep it alive by spritzing it, if you picked it alive.
