A Little Austrian Teacup

Are you planning a garden?  I always put something out and I always get something to grow; maybe not what I wanted, but it does grow.  With my tea today I am taking stock of a few seeds I have on hand.

Isn't this a pretty little teacup?  I found it at a thrift store for very little.  It is marked Victoria Austria.

I love these flowers.  They just got them in at the grocery.

Happy spring!   Take time to stop and enjoy a cup of tea.

That little teacup is cheery as could be! I love the color combinations. I'm not a gardener, but I LOVE gardens. Is that wierd? And I love the look of seed packets! They often don't get planted around here. Both my hubs and I are bookish and indoorsy. Boo.

I loved your Austrian tea cup. It is so Art Deco!
And that orange anemone is beautiful, very suitable to celebrate the coming of Spring.

Cute little teacup, Sherry! The flower is pretty too. I'm not a gardener although I wish I was! My back lets me down when it comes to that kind of thing. So, I just enjoy the fruit of others' labour. Thank you for stopping by for tea with me. Happy Spring and enjoy this first week of the new season.

Blessings,
Sandi

You have a wonderful teacup collection Sherry. I haven't gardened yet this year, but we do have some tulips out. Mainly my family sticks to flowers, especially those in pots since we have four dogs. Yes, four now...insane I know. We would love to have a vegetable garden, but our HOA has rules against those. We still sneak potted veggies out, but sadly those feed the rabbits, squirrels, and one of our dachshunds more than us. It's fun watching things grow though.

Thanks for dropping by my party this week!

Sherry, that is a really sweet cup! I love the shape.
I am hoping to grow some tomatoes this year. I always have herbs in pots. This winter was so mild, all my herbs survived! That has never happened before.

Terri
