A Cottage Tea

I have a new little teapot that I used today for a cottage tea.  This teapot has no marks.  Any body have a guess as to who made it?  I loved how it looked.

I also have waited out two little teacups at the thrift store and I got them for half price, $2.50 each.   They are Wedgwood.

I found this vintage hanky too.  Love the crocheted edge on it.

So, altogether I have a little cottage tea.  I am using my new white backdrops.  I will be using these a lot for Christmas.  Do you like the look?  I don't have a white house.  My husband and I did all white and cottage back in the early 90's and then we had three boys.  LOL  So, we both have decided not to go back to white.  Although, I still love it!  This lets me blog in both worlds.

Hi Sherry...

Oooohhh...your cottage tea is sooo very sweet and beautiful, my friend! I do love a pretty tea and you have certainly created a lovely one! Love the soft pink rose teapot! Ohhh...and you lucky girl...I have been searching for this very pattern of Wedgewood. To think that you found a pair of teacups and saucers at only $2.50 each...is quite the bargain! I'm so happy for you, Sherry! I also enjoyed your sweet vintage pink hankerchief!

Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage tea with us...it was such a pleasure, sweet lady!

Warmest wishes,

Hi: I love your tea pot and your Wedgewood cups. I bet you think I forgot about the cup you won? You are right! I have been so busy, I just forgot. I am so sorry. I am packing it up today. Please forgive me, I am normally not that forgetful. Hugs, Martha

Hello Sherry,
I have three boys too! Have you become a critter lover yet?
Oh, what a sweetheart of a teapot you found! Love your new teacups too. I wish I could find treasures like that here where I live. One usually has to leave the Island to find anything so sweet as those you have found. So happy to have you share them with us today. I love your white background too, by the way.

How lovely ! The teapot may have been hand painted which is why there is no mark.
Such a sweet vignette.

Sherry, your cups are very pretty, but Wedgwood does make such pretty things. The teapot is very old world beautiful. I love the pink blush and the roses, and how lovely the crocheted edged hanky pulls it all together. Yes, I like your white very much. You have set a very cozy, lovely tea time.

Have a glorious day,
