Can you tell I am longing for a quite moment at the beach. I am about as far away from that as possible. Landlocked in the Midwest with an ice storm moving in. I will post all the week's post now because I may lose power. I will come back and link them up later if I am not able to on time.
But, I can dream.....about the beach.
Real French pressed glass goblets. I found these at Marshall's last fall for $2.00 a piece.
Thanks for joining me down at the beach for a quite moment.

I just love the beach!!!! I can't wait for the sun to shine and warm weather. I lived in Buffalo until December 22, 2010, now we are in Houston. I don't miss the snow.....Houston is so unpredictable!
I love your goblets and dishes. I can see me sitting at your table and looking out over the ocean. Just so peaceful and quiet! Thank you for sharing a beautiful oceanscape!
Oh...I'd love to have a quiet time at the beach also! Try to enjoy the cold snow...summer is coming!
Your china is gorgeous, Sherry! Love your still life with the roses, shells and candles too. I also am in the midwest and we've had about 3 inches of snow so far - no ice, just snow but wind and cold is coming as well as more snow. I need to get out with the snowblower - now that I stay home, that's my job! lol
Stay warm, dear lady and I hope your power stays on.
Hugs and blessings, Beth
I loved joining you at the beach. What a pretty table, and those silver shells just send me! I have those same glasses and love them. Aren't they the cutest?
XO,
Sheila :-)
I hope your dream comes true for all of us in the path of this latest storm. You bring the beach chairs, I'll bring the fruity drinks with umbrellas. :o)
Stay warm and safe, Sherry. La
Oh...those glasses!! I want them!
I am worried about our power, too.
XO,
Jane
Sherry, beautiful table...you are dreaming about being at the beach! Hope you are staying warm in this cold weather.
This is so gorgeous! Beautiful china and stems. THis is like a romantic trip to the beach. Thanks for your visit last week -- I'm really late in getting around.
We all need quiet times, some time!
Your table setting is really beautiful. I love the French pressed glasses. What a great deal! The silver seashell dishes are so cute too!

I think we all long for some quiet, at times. I know I do!
Your beach setting is really beautiful. Those pressed glasses are some of the prettiest. I can't believe they were only $2 a piece! I think the shell shaped dishes are so pretty too.
What a great photo to close with!

Beautiful table and your photos are so pleasing to the eye. Thanks so much for sharing your dreamy beach.
Such a peaceful beautiful setting Sherry (as I listen to the wind whip the shingles off the roof)! So wishin' I was enjoying a warm ocean breeze:@)
I enjoyed my quiet visit to the beach. Lovely goblets! I hope you don't lose power & stay warm~
I've been dreaming about sunshine and warm temps too. Your table is wonderful. I just love your dishes.
The pattern on your Whitney china reminds me of the undulating curls of the ocean's surf...perfect for a tablescape to capture the romance of the sea. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
I commented onece on this, but I just have to say again, how much I love it, Sherry!
Happy Tablescape Thursday to you...
XO,
Sheila :-)
I feel the warm of the beach. How I wish I could scape the chilly Stockholm.
I can't believe I managed to struggle year after year living here, while the Philippines is waiting for me inviting the exotic weather §;-)
I love the simplicity you have in your table, girl! But, remember, simple is always the best.
Have a great w/end ahead, girl.
hugs & blessings,
/chie
A wonderful setting ... "beach romance" ... timeless!
I'm also dreaming of days at the beach ... enough snow already!!

I LOVE French glassware. That was a steal. Very nice table.
Oh, you just took me away. The beach sounds lovely. I love your goblets and your pewter shells. I hope you survived the storm, all cozy inside- dreaming of the beach.
i really hope you didn't lose power! We've had rolling power outages here in Texas -- not fun, especially the one that started just as I stepped from the shower! Your table is lovely -- beautiful china! And the French glassware is so appealing.
Hi Sherry...
Ohhh...sooo beautiful, my friend! Your soft pink roses are exquisite and I loved your photos! Beautiful!!! Such a pretty table...ahhh, it takes me away to the beach as well! What a wonderful thought! Thank you for sharing it with us today!!!

Hi,
I live in central NJ, and I am having those nasty storms too. We are getting hit again tomorrow with a snow/ice storm. I long for spring!
Wow, you've made me long for the beach even more than I was! We aren't getting the storms as bad as the midwest here in the DC area this year, but I feel like you! Stop by and pick me up on your way?!
Hope you didn't lose power, but somehow I think your home would be warm and cozy even if you did!
Stay warm!
Sheila
Girl after my own heart!! I love the beach too- it calls to me BIG time!! LOL! Your table looks gorgeous- love the seashell dishes and the french pressed goblets- thank you for sharing at Feathered Nest Friday! Hope you are warm and dry and have your power! :)
