I have been wanting to feature Miss Curity for awhile. I finally had the inspiration to put it together. I believe she is a little advertising piece for Curity band aids. (maybe circa 1950's)
In this vignette I have some old medicine bottles with a vintage nurse postcard.
I love this old bottle. It is a Scott's Emulsion Cod Liver Oil bottle. The man on the bottle is carrying a large cod over his shoulder.

Hi Sherry, thanks for visiting my blog and leave me your thoughtful comments! Your last post reminds me of my childhood, when you mention the bottle of oil scott emulsion cod liver! because my grandmother gave us this emulsion and cried so much my brothers and I still feel as smell and taste in my mouth! was like a punishment! ja, ja, ja. Thanks for bringing this stage of my memories back! , blessings, Rose Marie
Sherry, that is such a cute vignette and she is adorable.
How cute is she?!! I love all of the old bottles she is with too.
Reminds me of the old Cherry Ames books I used to read. I so wanted to be a nurse. Then I found out what all I had to touch--I changed my mind fast. Writing only requires me to touch a keyboard. ha!
Oh..so wonderful..She is such a treasure. I have to agree must be the Curity Band-aide..she is really something. so glad you waited to post..I wouldnt want to have missed seeing her...
