The Lion of Judah Roars

Instructions on Worship: The Charm of Home

A letter from Paul to early Christians.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For,

There is only one God and one way to get to him.

There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity-the man Jesus Christ. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.

This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. And I have been chosen as preacher and apostle to teach the Gentiles this message about faith and truth.
In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

Again, modesty matters...

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things that they do.

God has an order to things.

Women should learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly. For God made Adam first, and afterward he made Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived by Satan. The woman was deceived, and sin was the result. But women will be saved through childbearing, assuming they continue to live in faith, love, holiness, and modesty.

                                                             1 Timothy 2 chapter

* This chapter in the Bible is titled: Instructions on Worship.

God has an order to things and it hasn't changed since this passage was written. The world has changed and guess who has changed your mind.

Satan, who is god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

                                                              2 Corinthians 4:4

The lion has roared-so who isn't frightened?
The Sovereign Lord has spoken-so who can refuse to proclaim his message?
                                                              Amos 3:8

But Peter and the apostles replied, "We must obey God rather than any human authority."
                                                                                        Acts 5: 29

One God and one Mediator, the man Christ Jesus! How blessed we are that He loved us enough to give His life so we could be with Him forever! It is a privilege to serve Him and use our talents to encourage others and share His love.

Blessings! I'm your neighbor at #TellHisStory
