Home Sweet Home #44

Hello and welcome to Home Sweet Home!  I am so impressed by all of your Christmas decorations!  You guys have been busy.  We had a record party last week!  So many really awesome links!  Thank you very much for showing off your home at Home Sweet Home!  I loved visiting with you!   I am getting the party on a day early this week because I will be away from the computer tomorrow.

Today I'm sharing a vignette with a favorite Christmas story of mine.  It was a little story about a family that had their tree picked for the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.  This was my storybook from childhood, so it is vintage!  I dug it out last year and read it to my son who is a real tree lover.

Here are some more of my Christmas stories from the 1970's.  My Aunt and I used to get these out every year and re-read them each Christmas.  I used to love Christmas so I could read these stories and enjoy the pictures in them.

Christmas is such a special time to share your childhood memories with your children.

Now, I would like to feature some wonderful posts from Home Sweet Home last week.
First Emily at The French Hutch  showed her beautiful decorations and tree.  Click the link to view.
Audrey, at Elegant Economies showed off her red transferware.  Click the link to view.

Elizabeth, at Home is Where the Heart Is showed off some gorgeous quilts she made.  Click the link to view.
Debbie, at Mountain Breaths showed off her Nutcracker Mantel.  Click the link to view.

Katty's Cozy Cove  showed off her angels and two variations of angel wings that was awesome!  These are handmade of paper.  You can even make the feathers out of sheet music.  Click the link to view.

And last, Jacqueline of Purple Chocolate Home had her kitchen all decked out with visions of sugarplums.  Click the link to view.

Again thank you to all who join me at Home Sweet Home!  It is awesome to have you here!
I will join these ladies today:
12 Days of Christmas Traditions  over at Keeping the Christmas Spirit Alive, 365
Feathered Nest Friday at French Country Cottage
