Macro Party

I am happy to join Tracy fro her Macro Party today at her blog Tracy's Trinkets and Treasures.  I have been photographing everything for this blog in close-up mode with a tripod pretty much since I started it; but, lately I have gotten a inexpensive macro lens and now I use it as much as I can.

I like the way the images blur out and focus in on the subject with a macro lens.  Here is one of my favorite color of roses.  It has always reminded me of seashells.  I just love this delicate shade of pink.

Message in a Bottle

I am short on words and much more visual.  The pictures always matter the most to me. I will also link to:

Oh my your photos are gorgeous. You are very good at grouping things together that make beautiful photos. I think you should print some of your photos for art on your walls. The message in the bottle might be my favorite, but I love tulips!

Sherry, these photos are over the top. I'd love to hear more about your new macro lens. I have a new Cannon Rebel camera. I'm playing with a speedlite flash. I do take quite a few close up photos for my blog. What makes the macro lens different? Do you happen to know?

Your pictures are gorgeous and the composition so nice. Really like the blur in contract to the subject. I tried my hand at it for the first time and posted them for Tracy's party.

Hi Sherry, I am just doing the rounds from the Macro party and I was so sure I left a comment here yesterday but it seems to have gone AWOL. I just mentioned that I really loved these shots and after reading this post I linked up to the Macro party too so thanks for letting me know about it.

Thanks also for your kind messages. It would appear that the cyclone was not as damaging as predicted but it was still very strong and fierce. I hope that people will recover from this very quickly.

Best wishes always,
Natasha.
