Blue & White Harvest

I love blue and white dishes year round but they especially look wonderful in the fall with orange.  This week I discovered a perfect transferware pattern to set your fall table with.   This pattern is 'Harvest' made by Currier & Ives manufactured for the Heritage Mint.  This pattern is made in England, dishwasher, and microwave safe.

There are wheat sheaves being bundled by a long ago agrarian society.  It is very charming and perfect for a fall table.

Do you like blue and white paired with orange?

  8. I absolutely love the combination of blue & orange - it's so comforting. In fact, my friend's living room is painted those exact colours, & it's my favourite room in her house!

  9. I have the same exact dishes, Sherry! I love them and keep them on display in my hutch and at times they have been on plate racks on my walls until I changed my color scheme. I had even at one time thought about putting them away but quickly found that they pretty much go with EVERYTHING! I got mine years ago in place settings at a Kroger grocery store with a $35 purchase! I went on to get all of the extra pieces as well. And yes...they look lovely with orange!

  13. Blue and white dishes are my favorite! Growing up my mother had a Blue Onion pattern. I still have a few of the original ones and others that I have picked up at yard sales. I just love them! I never realized how beautiful they look with orange until I saw your photos! I must take mine out and display them with pumpkins. The blue and white really bring out the orange! ♥ xx
