Butter Pats


In honor of the humble Victorian butter pat.  I took a picture of them styled for fall.  It is reminding me of a crisp wind and the smell of a cozy fire.  Although it is still 85 here today, fall is promising to get here by showing a  peak of her glorious colors in these fall leaves.

    I adore butter pats. Started a collection about a year ago and I'm slowing growing it. So far I've only collection white version but after seeing your colorful collection I'm rethinking that plan.

    I have not seen nor heard of these before...how adorable they are! I love the way you set them out among the leaves....so simple, yet elegant!

    Nice picture with the butter pats. I have some of those myself. And no I am not getting out the sweaters just yet but my husband has been out collecting wood for our woodpile.

    Your butter pats are so cute, Sherry. With our weather, some days we need sweaters and other days we don't. The odd day we need a jacket. That's Autumn in eastern Canada! Thanks for sharing at my HOME.
