I am going to play catch up this week with the holidays approaching and give you a few Thanksgiving tables from the past to enjoy. I spent a good majority of last week sick and decorating for Christmas. This week got here and I had no post in draft! So, enjoy the links provided to look at some looks from TCOH archives. Here is a Thanksgiving table from 2012.
I did these Thankful Book Page Leaves in 2012.
I loved this one from 2013. I may put this on my table again this year.
Have you thought at all about decorating yet or are you getting overwhelmed? Believe me I understand, these are overwhelming times. I refuse to let it ruin the holidays for the children. So I am forging on with things that seem as trivial as decorating because the children will feel comfort in the holiday display. I pray for those children who have already had their lives robbed of normalcy.

Hope you are feeling better each day.
ReplyDeleteYour autumn tablescapes are lovely.
Sherry, I always appreciate a look back at your lovely tables. Hope you are feeling better and on the mend.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are 110% very soon. Loved revisiting your past Thanksgiving tables. I am going to be checking out the Thrift shops for some pewter. Back in the day I had some nice old pewter and copper too. Preferences wax and wane .. .but seeing this lovely mantle has made me remember how soft and lovely it is.
ReplyDeleteI had been nodding my head in righteous agreement about shopping from my own stock ... until I started looking at the pewter!
Angels to you Sherry.
Perfect loveliness in every single way that you decorate. Gracious inspiration and beauty.
ReplyDeleteHope today finds you feeling much stronger.
