The End of Summer Tea

This is going to be my last summer tea.  How did that happen?  Summer flew right by.  But, before it goes I am having tea; of course, and enjoying some of the last roses that have bloomed in my garden.

Heritage Lace Heirloom Table Topper
My tea table is graced with this lovely lace table topper from Heritage Lace.  It is a 58-inch x 58-inch square of lace in the pattern Heirloom.  It brings a stately quality to any tea just by casually placing it on the table.

Heritage Lace Heirloom Table Topper
I put it on my little mahogany tea side table and it dripped off of the table spilling lace to the floor.  I love anything dripping with lace!

Flower Therapy Tea: The Charm of Home
Here is the larger version of that tablecloth in my Mad Tea from this summer.  It really makes a stunning impression on any size table.

Thank you very much to Heritage Lace for sponsoring today's tea.  The products described were provided to The Charm of Home for this post.  The written description was entirely my own.

  4. What a gorgeous and lovely outdoor tea - and yes, summer has gone much too quickly! Your tablecloth is beautiful and so is your teacup - Limoges? Looks like it, or possibly Bavarian?

  5. Your table is really pretty draped in lace. It makes any table setting so elegant and the tea tastes so much nicer.

  7. Oh yes, flowers definitely lift my spirits which is why I have made it a habit to either have fresh flowers from my garden or from the grocery store in my home at all times. I rarely go without flowers here. Your tea table is lovely and I do love your lace table cloth. I adore anything with lace on it. I'm just an old-fashioned girl. Thank you for sharing with us and have a beautiful day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  8. Wow, such a beautifully elegant table. I loved your expressions about the flowers. Yes they certainly do have an effect on our emotions. I sometimes pick them up at the grocery store. Just arranging them in a vase and setting them on the table brings me so much joy. Beautiful post!
