Are we having fun yet? The Holidays can be magical, fun, memorable, and draining. I have a whole different approach to Christmas this year. For some reason, I am not putting a lot of pressure on myself. It is time to take care of me. I have had an epiphany of sorts. I am just looking at things from a really different viewpoint.
It is time to focus on clarity, vision, and purpose. I had intended this post for Thanksgiving but I wrote about the Millennial generation instead in Everything You Do Is Beautiful... So, I am picking up with my Thanksgiving thoughts this week.It is time to be thankful for all that you are and all you will become. Take some action on self care. A quite moment in daily routines. Make sure that your cup is full before you care for others.
God wouldn't want you giving away your last resource. Take care of you and be thankful for all that you have become instead of all that you have. Because you are the miracle. You are the gift. You are the light awakened one. This is the Thanksgiving of your soul.
It is never too late to be thankful for that.
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
~Dr. Seuss
These cookies are Chocolate Walnut Wreath Cookies. I found them last week over at Hope In Every Season written by Sarah. You can go over and visit to get the recipe. It is a wonderful old-fashioned recipe that reminds me of my favorite Christmas cookie the thumbprint cookie. They were delicious! The cup is made by Nikko and the pattern is Crown White.

I am still recovering from a fun but busy Thanksgiving weekend, and am taking the Christmas thing slow. I want to really enjoy and reflect during this Advent season so am trying to pace myself, and not put too many expectations on myself.
Thank you for your thoughtful post Sherry.
Absolutely love this post - and your pics and inspiration abounds.
YUM! May have to pop over to nab her recipe, thanks for sharing in such a pretty way.
Sherry, your whites are lovely and those cookies look amazingly delicious! Thanks for sharing and joining me for tea. Have a wonderful week.

Sherry: Your white and gold tea is so pretty! Those cookies look delicious. Have a great week :)
Bonjour,
Un très joli petit billet... Ces petits gâteaux me semblent succulents et je ne dirais pas non devant une bonne tasse de thé.
Je vous souhaite un joyeux mois de décembre.
Gros bisous ♡
Taking time to be thankful is a daily thing or at least it should be. Your white and gold tea is beautiful.
A beautiful table and post. This is the first year we will have none of our children home for Christmas and I've been pretty sad about that. BUT, it (and knee replacement surgery) have caused me to do less, fret less and plan some "out of the box" things for hubby and I. But mainly, it has freed me up to be more focused on Christ and the real reason I celebrate Christmas.
Thanks for your inspiration, Sherry! Those cookies look fantastic. Your tea vignette is pretty as well.
A beautiful post for reflection. The cookies look yummy to have with a cup of tea.
