I actually decorated this weekend! I added a little summer to the dining room by switching out my transferware to a more summery pattern.
This pattern is Fair Winds by Alfred Meakin.
I always look for an excuse to add more sea shells!
I experimented with a new chalkboard design over the buffet.
The shells look great in my vintage silver tray.
Have you done any summer decorating?

Shells are always the perfect summer accent! They look great with your transferware and on your pretty silver tray with the bottle. Love it!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Sherry! I love the whimsy of your mermaid and your shells on silver tray vignette! I tried to comment on Home Sweet Home but it wouldn't take me. Thanks so much for sharing my patriotic table, I'm honored to be included among all the inspiration. ♥
ReplyDeleteOh I adore all of your nautical touches! I linked up two projects this week. Thank you for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI see everyone decorate with shells and think they are beautiful. For some reason I can not pull them off in our home.....I am not a beachy type decorator...... Your shells look so pretty in your home.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! Sometimes I think summer is the hardest to decorate for mostly because we are outside more than any other season.
