I still have lots of strawberries blooming out back and I really wanted to try baking a chocolate cake with pink icing to highlight them.
This was a box mix that was a fudge truffle flavor. It turned out pretty good. The family ate it and said it tasted really good. I will tell you how I made it tomorrow. The mug is Old Country Roses by Royal Albert. The cake plate is Fostoria.
I have decided if the icing isn't going on that well, then you just layer more fruit and edible flowers on the cake and it still looks presentable. Can you tell I am not a perfectionist? I really like things that are a little flawed, I think they are more interesting.
