Home Sweet Home # 152

Hello and welcome to Home Sweet Home!  We'll we've been snowed in for most of the week so all I am getting accomplished is feeding everyone in my house!  This past week I made Hoppin' John Soup. 

I did manage to have a little tea and nosh for myself in Brambly Hedge Winter Tea.

We then rang in the New Year with a festive cake in Chocolate Pound Cake with Mint Icing.

 There are so many great creative ideas and recipes at The Home Sweet Home party each week. Here are some of the great blogger's post that caught my eye from last week's Home Sweet Home. 
Mary at Home is Where the Boat Is showed off her Sparkling New Year's Celebration and Mini Parfaits.



Sarah at Church Street Designs showed off a pretty DIY Burlap 4 Season Wreath.

Joan at Nicer Than New showed off a great idea for the New Year with Time To Open the Smile Jar.



Magali at The Little White House on the Seaside showed off here lovely home of Brittany France in The Wandering Blogger where she highlights the beautiful castles and such all within a close drive to her house!  Gorgeous!!! 

Abby at Abby's Way showed off a smart way she used a Recycled Calendar.

 There were a lot of 2013 recap posts that were amazing, but I choose other types of posts to feature.  It was too hard to chose between the recap posts.  Thank you so much to all that have joined Home Sweet Home during this busy holiday season!!
