Children's Easter Table

Every Easter that I can remember we have been so fortunate to have so much family gather for Easter that there is always several tables set for the meal.  I thought it would be great fun today to celebrate Easter by showing you a children's table set for the Easter meal.

I love the flirty polka dot fabric that's hue is perfect for Easter.

There is a pint sized bouquet of flowers that looks as if a child has picked it just for the table.

What would Easter be without a bunny hopping up on the table.

Mr. Rabbit is oh so curious about what lies behind the garden fence.  It is a vintage ceramic egg not the lettuce he was hoping for.

The little bunnies on the dessert plates have the best view of all.

Dinner plates are Pfaltzgraff.
Salad plates are from TJ Maxx.
Dessert plates are from Avon.

For little hands we are using thrift store sherbets. Children can feel all grown up with the fancy glassware and you won't care if they get broken.  The innocent eyelet napkins homemade.

Someone brought their Easter basket to the table too excited to part with it.  Thank you for having fun at the children's Easter table.

This is a re-post from 2010.  I always loved this table and it never had many views 3 years ago so I decided to re-post it.  I knew St. Patrick's Day, Spring, and Easter were all going to sneak up on me so re-posting is a good thing!

I think it is so wonderful when there is as much effort put into the children's table as the grown-up's and you've done an excellent job! From the little bouquets to the lovely bunny plates, it all looks terrific and sure to make the kids mind their manners! I especially like that you give the children nice glasses (even T.S. ones) as I think it does teach them early on how to act grown-up at the table. Happy Easter!

So cute! You're brave to put real dishes on the kids table. Maybe I should do that. I probably wouldn't be able to eat the entire meal, which would be a good thing. Love that blue pitcher in your sidebar photo!

Now if I were a child, I'd want to be at YOUR house on Easter. What a charming, kid-friendly, and beautiful table. I love that you have not shortchanged the little ones in decorating the table, and haven't banished them to paper plate land!

Happy Easter! -- Cass

That is so pretty! I'm going to have to do something like that this weekend. The grandkids are going to be here for Resurrection Sunday. Can't wait! Guess I'll have to buy flowers, because everything here is still buried under feet of snow.

Your children's table is so sweet. My Grandma use to set a children's table for myself and sister and brother at every holiday. I loved it. They are some of my favorite memories of her.
