Well it is back-to-school time again! How did that happen? Things are gearing up around here for the busier time of the year.
I am taking a moment out here today to think about the change of pace and some personal goals I have. A cup of tea is the perfect way to stop and reflect. This cup is called Athena by American Atelier.
Aren't these pretty vintage linens?

So cute. You're right, where did the Summer go. Love that cute embroidered napkin.
ReplyDeleteYour vintage linens are so pretty and they look like they've been well cared for... it's nice to reflect before things get crazy. Can you believe the holidays are just around the corner. Enjoyed your "Back to School" post!

Such pretty vintage linens!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry: I have those linens some where. If I find them, I will send them to you to add to your collection. Summer does go by too fast. Hope you are well. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tea for one. White is always right and the teacup is wonderful. Love your pretty linens too. Thank you for joining me for tea.
Have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
so pretty...I might like to consider cross stitch in my future!
ReplyDeleteSherry, what a cheery and nostalgic grouping you have for school! The vintage primary colors in the print you have sitting there and the tea towel are exquisite! Where do you find so many wonderful goodies?!
ReplyDeleteThis post takes me back to starting elementary school. Every year on the first day, Mom would wake me up singing "School Days" and have a special breakfast waiting! In my little mind, it was a magical morning! :)
Blessings,
Leslie
I can't believe summer is over either. I love your cute vignette and the vintage linens are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your linens! Gorgeous! What a fun setting for back to school with ME. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteRuth
What lovely photos! Amazing how fast time flies and it is time for school again already!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos , reminding us of back to school. Our kids are all grown up so we don't have the familiar bustle of this time of year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, simple white teacup. I love your vintage linens, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet tea time! Love your linens and darling picture!
ReplyDeleteNancy
Beautiful back to school tea table! Your linens are lovely.
ReplyDeleteDoes it feel as if we didn't have summer at all? I think being so stuck inside because of the heat and my lack of motivation (also the heat and just the way things looked outside) really ate most of my summer. We did just get back from a nice long vacation down south...where it was cooler than around here! I hope I get it back in gear and feel like doing things other than the basics soon!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice teacup and I love that illustration with the little girl reading!!!
ReplyDeleteAll your photos are wonderful.
Besos from Argentina, Silvina.
Happy Back to School Time!
ReplyDeleteYour tea cup is lovely, and the linens are too! Nice to start the hectic season with a calming cup of tea : )
Hugs,
Terri
Your collections are so elegant! I love the linens you featured in this post as I am a nut about vintage textiles. If I spot some on a good deal, I must buy them. They are so versatile that it is easy to rationalize my fetish ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe quote in your Mary E. print is one of my all time favorites. Was lovely to see it written in such a pretty way.
Happy day to you!
Hello Sherry - time is flying by! I was talking to someone yesterday I hadn't seen in a while - they were floored that my youngest is now beginning her Sophomore year in college - I miss the schooling years - but do love where we are now - Life and God is so good! Love your Mary Engelbreit picture! I have one and love her artwork paired with fantastic quotes.! I hope you're having a blessed day and appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,
ReplyDeleteKathy
Your tea time reflection was very sweet. I always enjoy some Mary Engelbriet as well!

This is my favorite tea post you've done. I really like the chalk board and bright decorations you've added to the table. Well done Sherry!
