With the heat of summer, I find myself inside more than I would like, but it does give me a chance to play in my cottage corner.
My cottage corner is quickly becoming a cottage kitchen for fall baking. New additions to it are making it cozy.
I have lots of flowers to put into bouquets, but the garden has now given in to only the toughest heat loving blooms.
Playing on the baker's rack, and considering if I should make it a pantry or just a storage and tea service area.
And fall is going to be here soon even though it may not feel like it outside. It is time to start considering fall pursuits.
I get outside in the mornings just so I can feel human again. This morning it was 4:45 am. So nice and peaceful. I’ll take a short Power Nap after lunch.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your cottage kitchen. I’m in the process of making a baking section in my kitchen. Everything for baking will be in the drawers and 2 cabinets underneath the counter. It will make it convenient and more enjoyable.
Love that bakers rack - it's so pretty. Especially with how you have it decorated and set up. Yes, yay for Fall right around the corner! I'm doing a bit of Autumn dreaming myself. Blessings. xo

ReplyDeleteAdorable bakers rack and love your little bouquets. All so lovely and you are right - the heat is on in the garden! I went out 3 hours 4 days this week earlier to begin cleanup and did some moving around of hydrangeas - they sure hate the heat!
