It is wedding season. Time for dresses of dainty lace...
and bouquets of wildflowers with much fixing of hair.
All of this got me thinking about what is perfect love.
Is it a love of a Mother for her child?
Is it that elusive Prince Charming each girl longs to meet.
So, I turned to the book I have been reading a lot of lately and I found the answer I was looking for, though it surprised me a little.
"And as we live in God , our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgement, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.

Amen to that! The little ones in their frocks are so sweet. Reminds me of us when we become His children and we look forward to that day; the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. What a joyous day that will be! Thanks for your post, Sherry.
