Are you soon to start seeing green? We are, spring is right around the corner and the days are getting brighter so it is time to celebrate with a look back in the archives of my March posts. This was A Spring Wreath Recycled.
In 2014 I baked this Guinness chocolate cake with a salted caramel glaze that was so yummy.

I practiced some forgotten skills of cooking with Darina Allen in, A Tea for March.
Last year I just pulled out my green teacups in Seeing Green.
And, I also did a book review last year on one of the most gorgeous gardening books I have ever seen it was, The Irish Garden.
I have actually taken on several book reviews and they all came in at once so starting next week I will be reviewing books again. I have been busy reading them! I hope it is turning green in your hometown.

From the opening photo of that gorgeous wreath, to all the pretty teacups; everything is crisp and lovely. That cake does look rather delish!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of your wreath very much and may shamelessly copy you this afternoon, as I pass by Micheal's on my way home from work. I think the green wreath with gingham bow is a good bridge between the seasons. I am so old-fashioned that I can't put out an wreath full of bunnies and chicks before Easter weekend.

ReplyDeleteLove the green and white theme! What gorgeous images of your March teas! I would sure love a piece of that scrumptious looking cake! The glaze alone has me hankering for some. We have very little snow around this year which causes we Islanders to pinch ourselves to make sure it is so. Last year was such a nightmare so we're all really appreciating the mild winter we've had. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day.

I have green year round, but now color is popping up all over my garden. It is wonderful to have fresh flowers for bouquets.
