This weekend I made cinnamon rolls that I thought I would share. They were really quick and easy and oh so good!
Ingredients:
2 packages Pillsbury ready made Crescent Rolls
1/2 cup apple butter
4 tablespoons brown sugar, divided
2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
Icing:
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons butter, softened
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Unroll the crescent roll dough into one large rectangle. Pinch together the perforations in the dough for the crescent rolls and use it as a single sheet of dough. Spread 1/4 cup apple butter on each sheet of dough. Evenly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon over the apple butter of each dough. Roll each dough up into a log and press into shape a little. Using a serrated knife or dental floss and cut the dough into individual cinnamon rolls. Place slices cut side down, into a greased 8-inch round cake pan. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown. While the cinnamon rolls are cooling make the icing. To make icing combine all ingredients and spread over slightly cooled cinnamon rolls.
Yield: 12-14 rolls
The apple butter center was ooey gooey good!
The pretty teacup was made by PTS International and the pattern is Gabrielle Cream.

Barbara if you don't have apple butter, one of the easiest ways to make it would be in the crock pot. Like here: http://myfrugaladventures.com/2013/10/slow-cooker-apple-butter/
