It was the shared opinion by the family that it was hard to get back to the grind after vacation last week. So this weekend I had a little tea vacation in the back yard.
A restful moment with tea, being mindful, is a welcome break. Be kind to yourself and slow down this summer. There is no need to be in a hurry. Take each moment as it comes and be present for each moment.
The tea set is by Pier 1.

A "tea vacation" is a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteYou're so right about slowing down and savouring the moments for they don't last long. Your tea set is really cute. Davids Tea sells sets very similar to yours and I was sooo tempted to get one but I managed not to. They had the most luscious colours too. Thanks for joining me for tea and enjoy this new week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Great reminder to us all to take a few minutes and relax. Beautiful tablescape!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a good vacation but returning is always difficult. Your tea time in the garden is such a peaceful setting. The sweet tea set is great for the occasion of slowing down this summer. Have a great week!

A beautiful way to enjoy and unwind. xo Catherine
ReplyDeleteA tea vacation; very posh, very relaxing and very romantic. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL sometimes I wonder if it's worth the vacation because you feel so NOT like returning to the 'real world'! I think it helps when I schedule at least ONE day when we return that is not filled with unpacking and more work. I try to have a day where we can just relax and regroup. Tea outside - perfect way to do that!
