June is when the rose come into full bloom around here.
Here is a picture of the garden from last year and below is this year. The roses have gotten quite a bit bigger. They have been loaded with blooms spilling petals everywhere.
I don't have the name of these varieties of roses. They are really pretty. Have you got any roses blooming in June?

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post to see today, Sherry! My lone rose bush has started blooming and I've got all the stages going on with it now ~ from buds to blooms. I planted it last summer and hoped after the horrible winter we had that it would come back okay. After some pruning up early last month, it made me feel good to see it's green shoots and leaves {and not the blooms!}.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love roses! Yours are gorgeous, love the bright pink color! Yes I have a few, my favorite is a hardy old fashioned shrub rose called Hansa. It has dark pink blooms.

We don't have any rose bushes in our yard, Sherry. Your lovely photos have me asking myself why not? Hmmm. I may need to hit the garden center!
ReplyDeleteI love roses too but the humidity here does take its toll on them in summer so I don't try to grow them. I will have to admire yours from afar!
