With the strawberries in season I decided to keep making strawberry treats to go with my tea. Today I made a strawberry tart. I have two shapes of tarts here. I will tell you how I made them tomorrow.
The little chintz tea cup is by Gracie China. It has roses all over it but, I thought the colors made it look a lot like the strawberries in full bloom in my garden.
Here is the saucer.
I have made a long strawberry tart and put it into this pewter serving dish. I have another picture of it for tomorrow where you can see the crust better. This tart pan was provided by Wholeport.com.
This is a little round strawberry tart made with a Wilton 4-inch tart pan.
I am seeing big boxes of blueberries in the grocery. I think I will make another strawberry cake and then I will have to feature some blueberry recipes.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty, and the tarts look so yummy!
ReplyDeleteYum; your berries look delicious, Sherry. The chintz teacup is perfect and it does remind one of strawberries. Lovely tea, as always. Thank you for joining me for tea.

Your china is gorgeous.
Oh, my goodness! That strawberry tart looks amazing. Strawberries are my very favorite fruit. If the recipe is easy enough I may make it for my Daughter's Beatrix Potter themed first birthday party. I'm looking for all sorts of garden themed dishes. Yummo! ~ Jamie
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful strawberry tarts to have for tea time. I love the long rectangle shape on the serving tray. Your chintz flowered cup and saucer is lovely with the strawberries. Have a great week!

Hello Sherry, I would love to have a teacup just like that one! I need to work at getting a few photos and tea shots so I can join in these parties! I worked all afternoon with a new setting on my camera. I have so many new things that I want to learn to do! I guess I should write a post on that too!
