I am having a romantic tea this week in the spirit of Valentine's Day. I am serving green tea with some gluten free blueberry banana muffins. Kind of conservative I know, this is the way I splurge!
My sweet little teacup is Limoges.
My shabby chic teapot is a vintage unmarked teapot I found in an antique shop awhile back.
My gluten free heart shaped muffins are a real treat but not too sweet. I will share the recipe tomorrow. I got this gorgeous silver plated tray at the thrift store a few weeks ago for only $8! I was so excited. I had planned to use it for Valentine's Day.
Are you planning a sweet treat this week? Do something nice for yourself, someone stuck in the house due to this bitter cold winter, or best of all someone you dearly love!

What a gorgeous teapot which appears French. How fortunate you are in finding the teapot at an antique shop. Your heart shape muffins look delicious. I am now eating gluten free rice pasta and cooking it in chicken broth. I will return tomorrow to checkout your recipe! Have a great 14th!

Looking forward to your scone recipe. I don't need to be gluten free, but I do think it's a good idea to eat less wheat, so I'm trying!
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty tea cup. Would love to have some Limoges. Beautiful roses, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces you have! Looks like a lovely tea party! :) ~Zuni

Oh my goodness Sherry, that teapot is totally gorgeous! Love the elegant shape it has, kind of reminds me of a pumpkin, so it would be a perfect teapot for a Cinderella tea. :)
