I have been wanting to do more food photography. So today I decided to take pictures of some of the fruit we have had this past week.
Do you try to eat more fruits and veggies in the summer when they are in season?
I have always loved to eat food in season. The berries are really pretty for photographs too.

I love lots of fruit and berries and always loved picking blackberries! These are making my mouth water! I'm glad there are lots of choices in the stores now...in season is always best! Love your mosaic! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking how delicious and healthy the berries looked...and then I spied the pie! Yummy.
ReplyDeleteI love buying fruits and veggies in season. I think it's nice to vary our menus, and diets with the seasons. Great photos. Yummy berries.
ReplyDeleteWe love berries here, especially blackberry cobbler. I would always go with my Mom to her sisters farm and pick some. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I do love to eat the fresh berries in the summer. My favorite are strawberries and blueberries. Your images are lovely, well done! Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteYes, such wonderful photos of berries. Course that blueberry pie is really fantastic. Perhaps I should confess that blueberries are my favorite berry and blueberry pie is my favorite dessert.
ReplyDeleteFresh fruits and veggies is the best part of summer! Love picking blueberries and strawberries in nearby farms with my kids:) Beautiful picture of the berries on the weathered wood! Happy week ahead!Hugs,Poppy
ReplyDeleteWe do eat seasonally as much as we can ... and living in Florida in the Winter and the Pacific Northwest in the summer gives us two growing season. A huge blessing. Right now we have blueberries (at our daughter's) and blackberries growing wild at the Lake where we stay. Plus lots of other fresh produce at the market. Your pictures are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a couple of weeks before we have blackberries, but from the look of the vines, there will be plenty.
ReplyDeleteYour berry shots are lovely.
Blueberries are my hubbies favourite, while I like raspberries. Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteSherry, seeing those blackberries brought back memories. As a child I use to go blackberry picking on our farm. I usually ate more than I picked.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, glistening in the light. I eat strawberries on my cereal and add a few frozen blueberries. (They're so expensive.)

Your photos are lovely - such luscious dark berries. Yes, we love eating all the fresh fruit that's in season. We have blueberry and raspberry bushes in our yard and it's so wonderful to be able to go out in the morning and pick enough berries for our breakfast.
ReplyDeleteLove blackberry cobbler and blackberry jam! Your photos are great. You must be sending out vibes across blogland to photo fruit. I am eating a bowl of fresh white-fleshed peaches right now and was thinking that I should take pictures of the remaining peaches tomorrow in the natural sunlight.

Your pictures of blackberries are lovely. I need to go pick up some.
ReplyDeleteYum, blackberry pie! Good photo's.
ReplyDeleteBerries of any kind are the best. Put them in a pie and I'm in heaven.
ReplyDeleteI love the rustic look of your table top - it goes well with the berries and pie. Also the nice side lighting in the first pic. Great food photography!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week. I am linking up to you through Mosaic Monday.
The berries look great but the pie looks better -- haha!
