Storybook Garden

There is a little garden at our grade school called the "Storybook Garden."  I walked over there this past week in all it's glory it was coming into full bloom for spring.  It is really pretty.  I hope the teachers knew and took the children out there for a brief moment.

And, in a small maple tree not five feet from where hundreds of children play each day a brave little Mother Robin has her nest right on eye level!  Such a tempting shot for my camera.:)

  1. So lovely. I was a fourth grade teacher for many years. I know how much my children would have loved to visit that garden. Gardens feed the soul. Smiles, Dottie

  2. I wish all schools would consider having a garden. I hate the concrete boxes many of our children are contained in 5 days a week. Like all tender shoots they need fresh air, sunshine and a light sprinkling of rain.

  7. Ah such a sweet shot of the nest and eggs! :)

I made your strawberry bread on Sunday morning. I just made one loaf worth, halving the recipe but with family in and out yesterday? There is only one thin slice left for me!
