I have some tulips here in a little May day cone basket I created a few years ago. All I did was make a cone out of poster board and mod podge the graphics all over it. The graphics were a page of script, a vintage looking nest, and a bee.
Happy May Day!

What an adorable cone! Are the flowers real, or are they exceptional fakes? Either way, they look perfect in that cone.

Pretty! I just received a special May Day gift from a friend. Every year, one of the moms in our homeschool group brings me a plastic cup with a Bible verse taped on. It's always full of lilacs. Such a special gift! Visiting you from Sandi's HOME party. Hope you're having a nice week. I've posted the new Homemaking Party for the week and would love to have you link up, if you'd like!

Love the cone with the tulips. My daughter's favorite flower is tulips. I'll have to surprise her someday with one to hang on her door.
ReplyDeleteThe cone is just gorgeous! I love the pure white tulips, and the french script. The bee on it added just the right touch of whimsy. The perfect welcome hanging on a door!

My mom still expects flowers on her door on May Day. Now I'm too far away, so I send the florist! I think it is such a wonderful tradition. Linda
