I found a great hat at the thrift store. It still had the tags on it. I decided it was a perfect tea party hat. It just needed a few embellishments.
I hot glued a 1-inch ribbon around the top of the brim.
I took a 1 1/2-inch ribbon and made an inpromptu bow.
Then I hot glued a small sunflower over that.

ReplyDeleteThat hat is adorable, Sherry! I love the black and white check ribbon and the flower on the brim! You added the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteI have black and white check on the brain because I just bought a wreath that hangs horizontally from a little pole that has black and white check ribbons tied to the wreath. I wish you could see it. I need to borrow your hat to do my dishes as I have it in the kitchen! :-)
Happy Sunday...

Sheila
