Sailor's Valentine

image source: Romantic Homes Feb. 2013

I always love to join Debbiedoo's Copy Cat Challenge but, I can't always find something to copy that I have the supplies for.  But, this month I had the three items in this full page photo taken from Romantic Homes February 2013 issue.

The article was on Sailor's ValentinesSuch a romantic gesture for a sailor at sea to craft a heart shaped box out of seashells for his sweetheart.  I think I could create another post on sea themed valentines.  I'll see what I can come up with.

  14. Sherry, I'm going to look through my past issues to see if I have this one. I've always been fascinated with these sailor's valentines. The Whaling Museum on Nantucket has a wonderful collection of these little beauties.
