Happy New Year! I am using photos I took in 2010 for this post. These were the very first pictures I ever took with my brand new 50mm lens. I was in heaven when I used it. Now two years later I am dreaming of my next lens.
Here's is to many more photos and much more fun blogging! Have a fantastic 2013!
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I just have the kit lens that came with my camera, and lately I have been dreaming of a 50mm lens :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your photos...I don't think I had 'discovered' your blog in 2010 so they are not redundant for me..but inspiring. I am still using my 'handy dandy' little digital camera and dreaming of having what I refer to as A REAL CAMERA ..frankly I do not know what direction I should go in upgrading ..any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to all the simply honest, sincere and encouraging writings shared on our blogs..by some of the most amazing and gift people.
My focus for 2013 is to learn to make better use of my blog-especially learning to attract a larger audience-while amassing large numbers of followers is not my goal I admit it is very gratifying and encouraging to know I actually have an audience.
Any suggestions in this area based upon your own experience? Feedback gladly accepted.

ReplyDeleteAnd may your blog keeps being Amazing!
Hi Jonell,
ReplyDeleteThese are great questions. I have upgraded a year and a half ago to a Canon Rebel EOS T1i. I really have enjoyed my Canon and it is very user friendly and it takes great pictures. On trying to attract an audience, I take the approach of trying to offer something that readers would like to see. And I say see because, I am most comfortable posting photos than writing text. So, the learning curve on the photography has improved much more than the writing skills because I just don't like to write lengthy posts. So, what do you enjoy the most in blogging? It is possibly your strength also. These gifts when shared are very powerful. I have been so blown away by the blogs I have visited this Christmas. There are some bloggers that are so talented! 2012 has been a fantastic year for blogging. Thank you for your questions and have a Happy New Year!
