Vintage Tins

I had been looking through old photos and I came across a photo of a vintage tin that didn't make it into another post.  I was looking at the tin thinking it was really photogenic.  So, I pulled them all down today and shot some pictures of them.  These were given to me by family.  The green tins are from England and the blue ones from Holland.  I have always just kept them above my kitchen cabinets but, they really are pretty in a photo.  

 And, now for those of us who could use some green!  Getting a little cabin fever here in February. 

 Oh....this is much better!!  Soon people soon...it will be green again!

    Your vintage tins are pretty. As soon as I saw the lily-of-the-valley their sweet scent came right to mind and I can't wait to pick a tiny bouquet from my garden.

    Wow these tins are beautiful. I am not into tins but when I see one like yours I know it's very special. And I have two tins that I so love very much. ^_^

    I love vintage tins and have a row on the kitchen counter...all with different teas in them. Great photos as always!

    Love your tins, I need to collect more to hold my teas. Lily of the valley is my favorite flower. Can't wait until I can smell them again! Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.

    What pretty tins...I like them too. I have saving tea tins just because they are so cute I can't throw them out, but they are not nearly as nice as yours. Beautiful floral collages.

    I love the pretty tins...my grandmother used to keep her stash of photos in one. When she passed, my father gave me the tin...it was like winning the lottery! Pictures of my siblings and cousins not to mention my parents and grandparents...magical things can come out of those tins...or just cookies.

    These tins are gorgeous! How pretty they would be, too, filled with lilly of the valley and other pretty blooms, soaps, silverware...they are just too, too beautiful to be secreted away on a shelf. I adore them.     I'm always amazed at how my smaller collections look good in pictures too. Your tins are cute, and I like the taller green one on the right. Your bright flower pictures are what I need to see on a day like today. It's sunny where I live, but everything is so brown. It always looks bad when the sun says you should have color, yet you know winter is still here. Your perks of pretty colors was a nice change. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures at my party Sherry!
