For my vintage challenge at Texture Tuesday today I dug out this advertisement from a turn of the last century publication. I don't know what magazine I got it out of, probably Good Housekeeping. When I went to the antique shows more there was always a wonder of art awaiting discovery inside of these old publications and occasionally I would find something amazing like this Hinds hand cream ad.
Isn't this the nicest art in this ad. Love the woman's face and the sailor suits.
Beach and vintage is a wonderful combo. One of my favorite.
All photos edited with a layer of texture from Kim Klassen called pourvous.
I will join Texture Tuesday at Kim Klassen Cafe.
