Welcome to Home Sweet Home! These are the out takes from yesterday's spring tablescape. I have gotten to where a straight table setting does not have enough angles for me. I had to rearrange the dishes and take some more photos just for the beauty of the colors and patterns.
Photography has become a main theme on this blog. If I can't put an artsy shot in each post I am disappointed.
Flowers are the easiest artsy shots, but dishes work too.
All photos above have been edited with the Kim Klassen texture Chamomile.
My vintage inspiration is a vintage milk bottle from a collection of family antiques.
Thanks for joining me here at Home Sweet Home.
I am joining these ladies go and visit them too.

Sherry, I am just like you. I just want to take picture after picture of every angle possible. I am loving my new camera. Your outtakes are great and thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteI really love seeing your "artsy" shots! They are always so pretty. Thank you for hosting us again Sherry!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry...
ReplyDeleteOhhh..I always love coming to your place, my friend! You are such a fabulous photographer and your photos never disappoint! I certainly understand where you are coming from....from the photography part. When I first started my blog, it was all about the decorating, etc. Since then I have really developed a love and interest in photography...although I am just an amateur at best...it just excites me to be able to get a few "artsy" photos! Hehe! Loved your photos on today's post! I have just begun to use textures...really don't know what I am doing but I have been doing a little reading up on the subject. At the present, I am hindered by not having the proper photo editing software to do textures. I have only played a bit with Picasa and being able to use their "overlay" feature.
I really love the dishes, Sherry...sooo pretty! A gorgeous vignette!!! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us and for hosting another Home Sweet Home party!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Sherry! Thanks for stopping by. Just wanted to let you know that the link back to you is now up in my post. This blogger thing was a MESS! I've had all kinds of problems. It deleted things and then posted things twice but I think I fixed everything now. Enjoyed your post this week. Hopefully I can get around to visiting other bloggers now. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry: Glad this party got on it's way, blogger issues and all!
ReplyDeleteI love that set you used for your tablescape. I was disappointed because I saw bits and pieces of it at my TJ Maxx but not a whole set. I knew there must have been matching plates, bowls, etc. and I missed the boat on that one!
Have a great weekend!

Hi Sherry:
ReplyDeleteThat tablescape is adorable. I saw some of those pieces at my TJ Maxx (cake server, bucket) but not the whole set. I was disappointed and knew I was too late for the plates, etc. Oh well. You did a great job. It's so country and summer sweet!

You are getting quite well at photography - this is quite beautiful! So glad your party survived the Blogger down time - it was interesting - felt a wee bit of a sense of loss - not being able to visit or be visited!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blessed weekend,
Kathy
I've just joined your party for the first time...thank you for hosting!

ReplyDeleteI love your red-checked tablecloth--the photos are so pretty--carnations are a favorite in any color! Hope to join in the next party. Hope you have lots of sunshine this week--no rain here finally!
