  5. Sherry, my mom used to have a bed of Lillies of The Valley in my back yard and I loved them as a girl. I used to cut them and put them in a vingegar cruet. Your teacup is so unusual, as well as your tea pot -- so very pretty! Joni

  21. Lillies of the Vally are one of my favourite flowers! I'm always looking for a tea cup with them on it when I am garage sale-ing ... but have not yet found one! So pretty!

When I grew up outside of Albany, NY, my grandmother's home, next to ours, had an abundance of lily of the valley and I so loved the delicate blossoms. You have capture the essence of that is your photography. Simply breathtaking beauty captured through the lens of your camera. You inspire me. Blessings.

  39. Oh, Sherry! Lilly of the Valley!! (their meaning) "A return to happiness". I just love them. They were plentiful in springtime where I grew up in northern New Jersey. I took them for granted then, but now miss their sweet aroma and beauty.

    I'm glad to see your cup, and you photographed it so beautifully 'washed in white".

  47. What gorgeous photos! Lily of the Valley is one of my favorite spring blooms, and is the flower for my birth month of May! I have a tea cup collection that belonged to my husband's mom, and one of them just so happens to be a Lily of the Valley pattern:)
