Can you tell I am longing for a quite moment at the beach. I am about as far away from that as possible. Landlocked in the Midwest with an ice storm moving in. I will post all the week's post now because I may lose power. I will come back and link them up later if I am not able to on time.
But, I can dream.....about the beach.
Real French pressed glass goblets. I found these at Marshall's last fall for $2.00 a piece.
Thanks for joining me down at the beach for a quite moment.

I just love the beach!!!! I can't wait for the sun to shine and warm weather. I lived in Buffalo until December 22, 2010, now we are in Houston. I don't miss the snow.....Houston is so unpredictable!
ReplyDeleteI love your goblets and dishes. I can see me sitting at your table and looking out over the ocean. Just so peaceful and quiet! Thank you for sharing a beautiful oceanscape!
Oh...I'd love to have a quiet time at the beach also! Try to enjoy the cold snow...summer is coming!
ReplyDeleteYour china is gorgeous, Sherry! Love your still life with the roses, shells and candles too. I also am in the midwest and we've had about 3 inches of snow so far - no ice, just snow but wind and cold is coming as well as more snow. I need to get out with the snowblower - now that I stay home, that's my job! lol
ReplyDeleteStay warm, dear lady and I hope your power stays on.
Hugs and blessings, Beth
I loved joining you at the beach. What a pretty table, and those silver shells just send me! I have those same glasses and love them. Aren't they the cutest?
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
I hope your dream comes true for all of us in the path of this latest storm. You bring the beach chairs, I'll bring the fruity drinks with umbrellas. :o)
ReplyDeleteStay warm and safe, Sherry. La

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI live in central NJ, and I am having those nasty storms too. We are getting hit again tomorrow with a snow/ice storm. I long for spring!
Wow, you've made me long for the beach even more than I was! We aren't getting the storms as bad as the midwest here in the DC area this year, but I feel like you! Stop by and pick me up on your way?!
ReplyDeleteHope you didn't lose power, but somehow I think your home would be warm and cozy even if you did!
Stay warm!
Sheila
