Mix It Up

Today I am mixin' it up with the place settings.  I can almost never find Limoges or any Shabby Chic style dishes in volume so sometimes you just have to mix it up.  

 Here is the first place setting.  China from Bavaria pattern is "Empire."

 
Here is the second place setting.  This plate has a maker's mark, but I am not sure what it is.  The pattern is "Shesia."


Do you like this table runner?  I made it.
If you want this table runner, you can purchase it.  I have took the leap; and it was a giant one for me, and I opened an Etsy Shop.  I will be doing a lot of sewing, trying new things, and blogging about it. 

I am not trying to hurry summer but, Shabby Chic just goes with shells, no matter what the season.

There is a simplicity about this with the bare wood and the bareness of just two place settings.  Yet, when I am setting a table with these dishes there is plenty to look at.  I love the Shabby Chic style floral china.

    I have to say I am absolutely thrilled that you will be joining me on the carriage ride destined for Royal Wedding Wednesdays. When I hit the "publish" button I had a momentary feeling of panic that my post would be met with only the sound crickets chirping. It has been quite the opposite, so much so that I feel we have a kindred spirit/sisterhood sorority.

    Wow, that is a great thing to open your own Etsy shop. Have a lot of fun with that. Judging on that beautiful runner, it should be a success. I love the way Shabby Chic lets you use one of a kind. I have a great friend who is just expert at putting together a mix of unmatched things and it always comes off so great.

    Sherry, no matter what seasons, shabby chic never fails any home decor.. and yours are just lovely! I love the mix and match china coz, I did the same too with my china! love the feeling of coziness and cottagey from using mix and match china!.. and the rose with burlap.. just add charm! lovely setting!
